OMV SAFFLOWER OIL 75ml

Like the Poppy oil as the name suggests is not Linseed based. It reduces consistency, improves the flow whilst increasing the gloss & transparency. As it is pale is it best used with whites & pale colours to resist yellowing. It is the palest of all the oils and is the slowest to dry. Due to this slow drying rate it is therefore not advisable to use this oil in lower layers as this goes against the slow over fast oil painting rule.
